Different Processes of Carpet Cleaning
There are many carpet cleaning companies across the globe today. Every company is offering various kinds of carpet cleaning services to match with the many types of carpets in the market. Home owners should know the specific type of cleaning method that is suitable for their carpets at home since not all ways work for any type of carpet.
One type of carpet cleaning method is hot water extraction, commonly known as steam carpet cleaning, a method that requires high pressured hot water to agitate the carpet fibre and dissolve the dirt that is stuck in it. The whole cleaning process involves the application of a specific type of cleaning agent on the carpet’s soiled surfaces, brushing and rinsing. Once the service provider is done applying the cleaning agent on the soiled surfaces, it is then allowed to settle for a short duration. Following this is the washing of the carpet using a cleaning equipment to thoroughly rinse off the cleaning agent. After this stage, the cleansed carpet is left to dry. Most service providers are recommending their clients, especially company offices, to schedule the carpet cleaning in the late afternoon. This is a good strategy since the carpet can be left to dry overnight wherein there are no operations so in the next day, the workplace can already utilize the carpet. Their work don’t have to be interrupted just to attend to sending the carpet to the carpet service provider.
The next kind of cleaning method is bonnet cleaning in which the top section of the carpet fibre is cleaned using a heavy duty motorized machine with a spinning pad that has been soaked up with cleansing treatment to accumulate dirt. Actually, bonneting has been of great help in the upkeep of hotels since they are requiring a quick fix solution to clean the carpets that are covering their floors. Most hotel floors are covered with carpets so they need it to stay clean without much moisture to avoid causing inconvenience to hotel guests primarily.
The negative aspect of bonneting cleaning method is that it merely cleans the carpet superficially, meaning, it does not clean deeply and there is a possibility that the dirt beneath the carpet that has not been eradicated will surface and the carpet will get soiled again rather quickly.
Another method of carpet cleaning that is available in the market is dry carpet cleaning or compound cleaning. Dry carpet cleaning is actually a latest technology that has gained the approval of many since it does not require drying time. The process includes the application of cleaning compound into the bottom of carpet using a motorized counter rotating brush machine to open up the carpet fibre and permit the compound to settle inside, resulting in thorough deep carpet cleaning effect.
